Africa’s Next Top Model brings the prestigious modelling competition TV show and Tyra Banks Franchise to Africa, and is set to debut at the last quarter of 2013. It will be hosted by Oluchi Orlandi, Nigeria’s internationally renowned supermodel.

Orlandi says Africa’s Next Top Model will be produced by LuLu Productions along with Never Machine Productions, and will air pan-regionally throughout Africa on MNET Africa Magic Channels, where she will serve as the executive producer and host, at a media briefing. The event will begin production in August in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and the English language series will be shot primarily on location in South Africa, sponsored by South African Tourism.

Aspiring models will be selected from the cast in eight countries throughout Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Angola and Tanzania. BUSINESSDAY
