I met Ellie Tsatsou the beautiful creative behind this eye-wear campaign during the London Fashion Week in February , where she was shooting streetstyle for Dash Magazine and i was poleaxed when i got an emanil days later from her about me modeling for this campaign. Long story short, we had loads of fun and the images could not have come out any better. The campaign was shot in East and South London.

Now we’re done with the creative part in the Fashion Entrepreneurship Course series!  We discussed the design and production process in Volume 1; learnt how to develop a concept from scratch and how to sketch our ideas on paper in Volume 2 and developed an in-depth understanding of colours and fabrics in Volume 3!

So now that we have the different elements of our storyboards, what next?!  It’s time to produce the garments!!!  And that’s what the Martwayne Fashion Entrepreneurship Course (Vol. 4) is all about!

But with summer right around the corner, Miss Iyamah shows us what a versatile designer she is with these show stopping vintage inspired swimsuits; featuring beautiful printed one pieces, high-waisted bottoms and halter bra tops with a retro silhouette.

Banke Kuku in the past has collaborated with Duro Olowu and Jewel by Lisa brands. The textile designer and her eponymous brand have released its beautiful Tera and Lace orchid print cushions which are available at Selfridges. The designers work is largely influenced by Africa and her Native Nigeria.

Errr i don’t really know what to say but I’ve just been really swamped and overwhelmed with school work of late and I’ve got exams in a few weeks which I’m preparing for, with loads of assignments and mock exams I’ve been dealing with, so it’s kinda difficult to get around all of this and still post often.  I’m done with exams first week in June and i promise y’all I’m going to deliver top-notch content, ONB style …thanx for all the love and emails.

Now these are just so beautiful to look at, i’m still yet to decide which one i want as i’m supposed to received a shipment of Ohema Ohene goodies thanks to being a blogger hehe… these might not blow your socks off if you’re based in Africa but in Europe and America it’s the shit! deal. All the high street brands a jumping in on the print and the items are flying off the racks. Ohema Ohene has maintained its consistency and recently had a good show at this years AMFW, i see the label growing even further this year.

Eki Orleans will be debuting its home cushions at the International contemporary furniture fair in New York from the 19th to the 22nd of may. It was only a matter of time before the label would branch into home-ware, i really did see this coming. Eki Orleans adds this to the main line and bridal bespoke services they offer.

This time the British/Nigerian model is on duty for Luxury online retailer Oki-Ni for the 3rd installment in their Focus series ‘Technical’.
