Moroccan born and London based Hajjaj fuses ,logos, objects, vibrant colors and textures, all with that cool Africana vibrancy. His biker chick Barbie dolls are dressed in mini djellabahs and face veils, or niqabs. In the series designer logos are paired with the conventional patterns of Middle Eastern rugs. Hajjaj manages to fuse pop culture and brand logo craze with North African lifestyle.
