I know y’all are waiting to see images from the ongoing LFDW 2012….at present at i’m editing and would post stuff up as soon as possible from Day 1 and the exhibition. But i was surprised to see Suzy Menkes frontrow today….for a second i pinched myself cos i thought i was just imagining things but nah…she was there in the flesh experiencing African Fashion. LFDW continues to take an educated approach to moving African Fashion forward. The persistence and hardwork of LFDW creative director Omoyemi Akerele and her team is laudable.
