 Panellist. CEO of the (government owned) New Vision media group. Former director of the Media Council, at the time of the last (2006) government attempt to “re-brand”


Tembe Ikalafeng

 Panellist. Known as “Mr. Brand” and has worked on re-branding countries, celebrities, politicians and products.  He runs the Brand Leadership Group which aims to rebrand Africa as a vibrant modern continent.  He also helped Ghana organise the 2008 elections and is involved with them again for this year’s poll. Currently writing an article, “Time to lose the African identity.”

 Panellist. Parliamentarian and co-ordinator for the Action for Change group (behind last year’s Walk to Work protests)


 Joe Ryan

 Front row guest. Managing director of Glenevin, the Irish “operational risk” company hired by the Ugandan government in February to advice on improving its international reputation
