Nicolas Petrou was tapping certain cultural elements that referenced African and South American cultures in his AW12 collection which was by far my favorite menswear collection at the just concluded Arise Magazine Fashion Week. Following his extensive use of African print for his ss12 collection this time he used loads of tie and dye fabric – which in my opinion best suits fall/winter- in one hue and appliqued braided tulle on the shoulder and back sections of some of the shirts. My favorite part of the collection were the hand painted Timberland boots. I’m not the Timberland wearing type of guy but I’d wear all of these. Peep More of The Glorious Collection After the Jump.
