Beampeh Handmade Lamps

Adebimpe Adebambo the Creative director and  Head designer of the Beampeh brand is a multi-faceted and dynamic artist, fashion, accessories and jewellery designer. She  is graduate of  Painting  from  the Yaba College of Technology, Yaba class of 1998. She has always been fascinated by light and lamps from infancy always wanting to touch and hold bulbs. Her brand name Beampeh starts with a ‘beam’ of light.

Sekere Oba Lamp

Given her love for light, lamps and warmth she experimented with  some recycled materials and produced an ambient lamp ‘Twinkle’ in 2004 which was bought by an art enthusiast and has continued to make lamps with objects and materials she finds around her. Interestingly while in Secondary school,her favourite subject after fine art was physics and her favourite topic was Light and Optics.

Ethnic Cacti Lamp

She has a penchant for organic materials like raffia, jute and the like and her lamps have been exhibited in Nigeria and Copenhagen. They can also be found mostly in the homes of architects and art lovers.
