Renee Quarcoo has found a way to give the ubiquitous batik print a new lease of life. She craftily fuses them with soft jersey tees in the most amazing ways and the best part is their versatility. I had seen images of her work online but I decided to pay the designer a visit during a recent trip to Accra and to be honest, the clothes look better when you’re seeing them physically. There’s a mix of designs suitable for every kind of woman from daughter to mother albeit even grandmother.
